Mulder groaned, rolled his eyes, and muttered, "He thinks humans are inferior, at least we don't fall into a coma after coming." He then waited for the knot to shrink so he could pull off the cock imbedded in his backside. He focused on the positive side, that being, it allowed him two to three hours alone to explore the ship.

*Young one, do not despair. We are growing stronger by the moment, soon we will be able to help you and your human mate,* the voice chimed inside his head.

Mulder was going to correct the being and tell it that Alex wasn't his mate, but to be honest, Alex was the closest thing to a mate he'd ever had including his ex-wife Diana. So what if they'd never be able to have children.

He heard the voice lilt with what sounded like laughter. *Child, in the time your mate comes from two males can have a genetic child together as long as they have a willing female to carry the baby to term for them.*

*How do you know this?* Mulder asked.

*From your mate's mind. His mind is very open when he sleeps. His dreams are both wistful and full of great sadness. I am sorry for the hurt my people have caused yours.*

*Then help us get back home. We might be able to prevent it from ever happening,* Mulder pleaded as he slowly pulled off the morph's cock with a groan.

"We will help you and your mate anyway we can. Go to the ship's control room, I shall start your lessons on how to navigate this ship. When we get to the prison planet you will need to be able to fly it back to your planet yourself," the being replied.

Mulder allowed the being to guide him to the control room. Finally he had some hope that he'd be able to get Alex out of this situation unharmed.

Sacramento

"We're being followed, Scully," Skinner said, glancing into his rearview mirror.

Scully pulled down the visor and angled the mirror to see behind her.

"Three cars back, the dark blue Cadillac," Skinner informed her.

"Sir, do you think you can lose them?"

"I sure as hell am going to try once we get out of this city traffic and onto the freeway."

"Do you think someone has a tail on the gunmen, too? Maybe I should call them," Scully said pulling out her cell-phone. It wouldn't do for them to lose their pursuers only to have the gunmen lead them to the private airport.

Skinner whipped the car onto the freeway, increasing speed. He watched as the Cadillac sped up to head them off. Their pursuers knew that their presence had been noticed. The Cadillac nudged at their bumper trying to force them off the road. Skinner switched lanes and at the same time slammed on his breaks so the Cadillac sped by them. He turned the wheel and jumped across the center divide onto the opposite freeway. Their pursues were unable to get pass the two semi trucks blocking their way to follow.

"Nice move, sir," Scully said, prying her fingers off the door handle. "Langly said they already lost their tail."

"Let's hope he's right," Skinner said.

"Sir, what if we can't find the resistance leaders in the future?"

"We will, Scully. We have to." Skinner exited the freeway and took the side streets and back roads to the small airport. The gunmen's rental car was already there. Byers' brother had a small plane and he had agreed to fly them back to Alaska. Once there, they would have to hike to the remote area that Krycek had indicated in his letter was the place the rebels used to meet other resistance fighters. From there they would go back in time.

Mulder memorized the Gray's instructions. It didn't seem as complicated as he had thought it would be. The ship's computers did most of the work including landing, all that he had to do was program in the coordinates from where they were going and the ship took care of the rest.

*You must go back now, child. Our wayward brother is awakening. It would not be good for him to find you here.*

*Thank you,* Mulder said as he left the control room. He was determined to avoid the morph for as long as possible. So he headed back toward the stairs leading into the lower level of the ship, which was also away from Alex. He opened the metal hatch and started down the stairs. Mulder could sense that the hunter was up and searching for him. The agent wandered by the room that held the friendly Grays prisoner.

The lighting in this part of the ship was low, and the further Mulder went the darker the interior became. He stopped suddenly as he felt the presence of another life form close by. Mulder saw the shapes move in the darkness as he started to back away. One lunged forward catching him by surprise. Mulder scrambled backward losing his footing and landed on his bare ass. The creature was on him instantly holding him down as it sniffed him.

Mulder had never seen creatures like these; they had a thin layer of red feathers covering their sinewy bodies and long whip like tails with pinchers at the end. Mulder lay completely still as the creature ran a sharp clawed hand over his exposed belly. The being's head followed its hand, pushing his legs apart it started sniffing excitedly between them where the morph's semen was smeared. It nuzzled its snout in between Mulder's buttocks and licked at the tight puckered hole. The creature sat back on its hunches panting hungrily, its nostrils flaring. Mulder watched in utter terror as the creature's cock emerged from its sheath, growing longer and thicker. He glanced at the other creatures and they too were growing equally aroused.

The creature recognized the human as food. However his scent wasn't that of a human, it was closer to their own smell and he was being used as one of their species' breeders.

Mulder listened to the clattering between the creatures, and tried to back away from them but two quickly grabbed a hold of each of his legs, spreading him, opening him for the third to explore. His legs were pushed back against his chest and his ass elevated. Mulder struggled and tried to twist out from this extremely vulnerable position, but the creatures were too strong. He couldn't see what was happening, he shuddered as he felt the snake-like tongue on his anus. It pushed in and lapped at his insides. There was a growl behind Mulder and he angled his head to look over his shoulder just in time to see the morph shape shift into one of these creatures.

The creatures let him go and Mulder rolled to the safety of a nearby wall. They were slightly different in appearance from the morph who was more powerfully built. Mulder watched as the morph mercilessly killed one then two of the creatures. "What are these things?" Mulder wondered out loud not expecting an answer.

The Gray's musical lilt sounded inside Mulder's head. *They are part of my race. Unlike your race, we have several distinct species. My colleagues and I, who you refer to as the Grays, we are the builders, the beings fighting before you are the hunters, there are also the workers, and the breeders. All of these species are male with the exception of the breeders who are female.*

Mulder eased along the wall as the morph stalked after the remaining creature. *You mean that all of the different species procreate with the same female species?*

*Yes. The breeders are kept in the perpetual state of pregnancy. They have no other purpose since there are so few of them.*

Mulder shuddered at that thought as he started up the stairs. Another thought suddenly occurred to him. *Your species have been using humans to plant your offspring into, they feed on the living tissue of my people eventually killing them. Is this why? Because you don't have enough females?*

*I cannot say why my race has turned to this abominable means to procreate our species. I won't deny that it never happened in my time, but it was usually the hunters who were responsible for this atrocious act, not us builders.*

*Then something must have changed on your home world because it is the builders and the hunters who are doing this to my people,* Mulder growled, sensing the morph's victory. He slammed the hatch shut and looked around for some means to secure it. He bent and lifted a section of the metal grating from the floor and turned it so one end rested against the door and the other faced the opposite wall, there was only a two inches gap. Mulder proceeded to pull up more grating and reinforced the barricade. He had three piled against the door when the morph pushed against it.

"OPEN THIS DOOR, PET!" the morph roared as he realized that he was trapped. The only other way out of the lower section was through a portal into space.

Mulder watched until he was sure the barricade would hold. He had picked up from the angry morph's unguarded thoughts that there was no other way out of the lower section. *Will you help me set the ship to take us back to Earth?* he asked the Grays.

*We will help you, child.*

Mulder sprinted to the control room, he would set the ship for home then go to Alex.

The morph walked back down the stairs and settled in to wait. In time Fox will have no choice but to open the hatch and come to him. He would need what only he could give him. Then he would punish Fox severely for his behavior.

Skinner looked sternly at the three gunmen "If we are not back in a week then publish Krycek's journal on the web. Try to convince as many people as you can that this is for real."

"Yeah right, dude, as if people will take us seriously," Langly replied.

Byers elbowed Langly, and said, "Don't worry, A.D. Skinner, we will make people believe us."

Skinner nodded looking at Scully. "You ready, Agent Scully?"

"Yes, sir."

He waited until the gunmen had moved out of range of the device. Then he pressed the buttons and almost instantaneously they were teleported to the future. At least Skinner reasoned it was the future because the gunmen had vanished and the trees that were near them were larger, other than that not much else was different, there was no devastation as there had been in Sacramento.

"So we wait," Scully said, looking around.

"We wait. Let's set up camp, it might be awhile," Skinner said, opening his backpack.

Scully shrugged hers off her back.

Deep Space

Mulder carried the food and water back to where Alex lay sleeping. He had used some of the water to wash the morph's semen from his body, and much to his relief, he had even found some clothing in the supplies the morph had stashed away on the ship. When this ship landed back on Earth he did not want to walk off in the nude. The coordinates that he had the Gray program in would set them down in front of the United Nations in broad daylight. Just let the consortium or the U.S. government attempt to cover up the existence of aliens after all the world witnesses a UFO landing.

Mulder set the food down and knelt beside the cot that his lover was sleeping under. *You can allow him to wake up now,* Mulder told the grays.

Alex moaned and slowly opened his eyes. His eyelashes fluttered as he attempted to focus, smiling softly when he saw Mulder's grinning face. "Fox, why are you so happy?" he asked sleepily as he allowed Mulder to help him out from underneath the cot.

"We have the run of the ship. The morph is trapped below deck and cannot get to us." Mulder wrapped his arms around Alex's body and his smile grew bigger as Alex returned the embrace. They spent the next few minutes kissing and enjoying each other's presence.

"So how are we going to get home? Neither of us know how to fly this thing," Krycek ask, resting his head of Mulder's shoulder.

"The grays showed me how, Alex, we're on our way back home right now. Soon the whole world will know about the existence of aliens." At the tensing of Krycek's body Mulder pulled back. "Alex, what's wrong?"

"Fox, I'm not sure it's such a good idea to expose the aliens at this point. Earth is not prepared to defend against them, and this might move up the time table for the invasion," Alex said, his hands rubbing and stroking across Mulder's shoulders.

"Alex, you said no one but the consortium knew the last time and look what happened! When the aliens invaded the people were too stunned to even fight back until it was too late. This time we won't be taken by surprise. Our planet's top scientists will find a way to defeat them. If not at least we will go down fighting and not taken like frightened sheep!"

Krycek sighed, Mulder just didn't understand. "Maybe Scully and Skinner will be successful and reach the resistance fighters in the future. The resistance was working on a weapon that will help against the shape shifters, it sends out a signal that forces the grays back to their original form. If we had that weapon then we could expose the aliens who are currently posing as humans in governments and militaries around the world."

Mulder swallowed nervously. "I hadn't thought about that. Do you know how many aliens are on the planet? And, Alex, have you ever seen any other aliens besides the grays?"

"The alien rebels, they are closest in appearance to humans. When they came to the resistance to offer their assistance they referred to themselves as the workers. They are fighting for independence against the grays who they say had started using them as living incubators to gestate their young inside of, similarly to how the grays are using humans, when we are too old to be productive we are sent to the breeding camps," Krycek said shivering. "Fox, from the records I've seen about this era there were believed to be several thousand aliens currently on earth. We'll need to mass produce the vaccine against the retro-virus."

"Alex, we have a couple of days to discuss this before we are back on earth. Right now, I desperately need you to make love to me," Mulder murmured, kissing him softly wanting to rid himself of the morph's touch that still lingered on his flesh.

Krycek responded by rolling Mulder onto his back and proceeded to devourer his mouth. Wanting nothing more than to live on a free Earth with Fox as his lover.
